IMPACT Administrators' Toolkit
Men As Peacemakers
A 6-step guide to saftey & gender equity in sports.
This toolkit includes resources for Executive Directors, Club Presidents, Coaching Directors or other leaders of community athletic organizations. The resources included will teach your coaches to promote safety, respect, and gender equity with all players. This guide is meant to provide examples and a framework for the development of your organization’s policies and procedures. Our previous work with the Minnesota State High School League, Arrowhead Youth Soccer Association, Winona Youth Soccer Association, and other sports organizations, has taught us that every organization is unique. We encourage you to work with us directly to tailor your approach to your specific community of coaches and players. Contact Men As Peacemakers at info@menaspeacemakers.org or 218-727-1939 to get started.

Champions Building Champions
Men As Peacemakers
Champions Building Champions is a highly successful athletic mentoring program that connects Duluth youth with college athletes. With the help of our partners, Arrowhead Youth Soccer Association, UMD athletics, the Boys and Girls Club, and Duluth Parks, we run weekly sports sessions for youth. Our activities are free and open to everyone. We provide athletic opportunities for all youth, regardless of economic background.
All activities are facilitated by collegiate athletes who focus on building constructive relationships with the youth involved. By providing kids with strong male and female role models we strive to instill positive values: respect, gender equity, commitment, and leadership.

Positive Coaching Alliance Workshops
Positive Coaching Alliance
Typically, an individual school or youth sports organization hosts a Leadership workshop for its directors, a separate Double-Goal Coach workshop for all its coaches, and a separate Second-Goal Parent workshop. A Triple-Impact Competitor workshop is available for teenage athletes in the school or organization. PCA also offers Partnerships that include workshops for school districts, conferences, park-and-recreation organizations, leagues, and youth sports consortiums in all 50 states and several other nations. Each workshop takes anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours and is led by a PCA Trainer with deep athletic and coaching experience (usually at least three years at the high school level or above). The Trainer explains PCA's three key principles -- Redefining "Winning" as Mastery of Sport, Filling Emotional Tanks and Honoring the Game -- and leads attendees through a series of interactive exercises based on common youth sports scenarios. The result is that the group of leaders, coaches, parents or athletes begins to explore different approaches for success and establishes a common vocabulary for use in providing athletes a positive, character-building youth sports environment.

US Center for SafeSport
Athletes will perform better, soar higher, and get more from sport if they feel safe. SafeSport seeks to create a healthy, supportive environment for all participants. Through education, resources, and training, we help members of the sport community recognize, reduce, and respond to misconduct in sport.
The Center has two offices, each with distinct roles in helping to create a safe, strengthening environment for athletes.
- Administers national programming to promote respect and prevent abuse
- Raises awareness of issues
- Provides educational materials and resources
- Investigates and resolves alleged violations of the SafeSport Code for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement
- Uses neutral and independent investigators and arbitrators in its processes
- Gathers and analyzes data that is used to improve awareness and prevention programs
