Bullying Prevention Training for Coaches and Parents
National Alliance for Youth Sports
The National Alliance for Youth Sports is aware that bullying in sports is an extremely important topic for coaches and parents of young athletes regardless of the age of the players. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have found 20% of high school aged kids have experienced some form of bullying on school grounds alone in their lifetime. Those numbers only increase when incorporating recreation sports.
Because this is such an important subject, we have created optional bullying prevention training courses for NAYS Coaches and NAYS Parents as a supplement to the information they received during their training. NAYS has also decided to offer this course to everyone, completely FREE!
