As Society Reopens, Take Time to Refresh

Last month, RALIANCE’s blog called on societal and organizational leaders to build a better “normal” as society reopens. We can’t afford to fail in achieving this goal, but here’s the truth: Building a culture that’s inclusive and free of discrimination, violence, and harassment will take a great deal of collective work, day in and day out.

That’s why we’re encouraging our readers to pause, reflect, and refresh this August. Important work lies ahead, but before that can happen, we all need to take time to rest, care for ourselves and our loved ones, and reflect on the contributions that we can bring to the table to build a society that works for everyone.

We’ll be taking a moment of recharge alongside you, returning to regular blog publication after Labor Day. If you have the luxury of taking a summer vacation this August, below are some reading options to catch up on from last month:

• Letter from RALIANCE: Society’s Reopening Is An Opportunity to Embrace Change

• How to Navigate Harassment in a Hybrid Workplace

• How Industry Leaders Can Prioritize Vulnerable Workers During Reopening

• Nightlife’s Returning – Here’s How to Make It Safer

RALIANCE wishes you a restful August and looks forward to writing to you again soon!
